Alabama Denies Children's Cartoon "Arthur" as the State Supports Many Hierarchies

Alabama Public Television has decided it won't show an episode of the children's show "Arthur" because is features a same-sex marriage.

Premiering on May 13 in the 22nd season of the show, "Mr. Ratburn and the Special Someone" will not be shown because programming director Mike McKenzie say that parents might find it inappropriate, because their children are too young, or because of other beliefs.

Are children too young to see another option of marriage between adults, that of heterosexual marriage? What about the beliefs of families and children who support or are a part of a same-sex marriage?

But when you put yourself on top of a hierarchy, this one the sexual orientation hierarchy, no one matters to you but heterosexual people like you.
