Catholic Bishops Show Christianity Minus Hierarchy

Of late, so many so-called Christians have used their religion in name only to promote hierarchies where non-whites and non-native-born people are pushed to the bottom. 

Today the American Catholic bishops rebuked the Trump administration’s aggressive deportation campaign in starkly moral terms. 

The bishops said they “oppose the indiscriminate mass deportation of people” and “pray for an end to dehumanizing rhetoric and violence, whether directed at immigrants or at law enforcement.”

Chick-Fil-A Refuses To Serve Black Officer When Gives Free Meals to White Officers

At a Chick-fil-A location in Augusta a few weeks ago, four CPD officers, went to a Chick-fill-A. They came in together, same uniform, stood in line, there was never a time they were not together while standing in line.  

All three of the white officers got a complimentary meal, which is something Chick-fil-A does often with law enforcement. However, when the one black officer got to the register, he was told that he had to pay.

Chick-fil-A is well-known for its discriminatory right-wing beliefs and practices. Here we go again.
